Well Tekunda, I’ll be the bigger man and accept your apology. You’ll have to forgive me though, for thinking your attacks on me were personal. Usually when someone calls me a crook, as you did, I take it personally. I had no idea you were calling me a crook in general. I feel much better, thank you.
But I’m curious about your thinking on something else. You said:
” In my humble opinion the fee is so modest that this also tells me a lot about that person's character.
I guess I just don’t understand how a lower price reflects that person’s “character”. I have less character because I charge more? He has more because he charges less? If someone gives away their signals for free, are they eligible for sainthood? I mean, I just don’t get it. There are Mercedes and there are Toyotas. Does their respective prices tell you something about the automakers character?
I also don’t get why my “poorly designed” webpage bothers you so much. You mentioned your current provider “(and I cannot help but need to add that his website also looks quite professional)” I really just fail to see why this is such a hot button issue with you. Are you honestly telling me that if I had a pro design my webpage you’d have no problem with me? Ooops! Sorry! You don’t have a problem with
me, just signal providers in general, unless they charge a “modest” fee and then you are fine with them. Do I have that right?
Look, if your guy lets you have his signals free for a year, good for you. But that’s not me. I firmly believe in the third date rule.
If your guy only charges $100, again good for you. But don’t you think it just a bit odd that he values his service so little? Don’t you think that undercharging is as suspicious as overcharging? I do. I’d be wary of someone who thought so little of the service they provide.
I have no idea if I am the most expensive, right in the middle, or what. I charge what I think is a fair price. If anyone thinks it is too expensive, they don’t sign up.
But I still don’t get your objections here, even though they aren’t about me “per se”. Why do you assume that “my clients dream of the big bucks”? Why do you assume “people sign up without proper research”? Because honestly you know nothing about either my services or my people. You’ve got your little $100 a month guy, and that’s great. Some people just love to shop at the Dollar store too. But that’s not me. It’s not my customers.
Note: I’m not bashing you, your $100 a month signal provider, or people that shop at Dollar stores,
per se, Tekunda. Basically what I did was taking you just as an example for my line of reasoning, that was all. Don’t take it personally.
