To me the key statement or rather issue in your comments above is learning curve. I trade futures on the CME, (just eminis) and I rarely spend more than 90 minutes a day on the computer and have a very simple system and make quite a good living at it, of course money management is vital to any trading success.
I have wanted to learn how to trade the Forex as I spend a good part of the year in Asia and it's a pain to day trade the CME at 9:30 at night, when I figure if trading FX I could do so during the day while there, but I have found there is just so much info about FX and there are so many scams and crap it's really hard to cut through the crap and really find things that work...and of course to actually learn the basics...
Just my two cents worth.
