It depends how other users "rate" you.
IE if you a post ether mostly Spam's are adds comments that are misleading or byes you'll generally get ether no ranking or worse yet bad ranking (reddish colors) other members. on the other h if you contribute useful productive topics other members will highly rank you by voting high (green colors.

Member can only vote once for each member ranking all votes are weighted to avoid cheating.
Members can vote for a member within their profiles. After a member has received 3 vote's you can see the members that voted for them but not what rank the member voted
