That would appear to be the case, except it's not like Divergence on an RSI or some price based indicator, this is activity based volume declining at a steady rate and illustrates a principle of volume. I.E. As price rises to higher and higher levels, the amount of market activity is dropping at a steady rate of decline. Also, keep in mind on the larger timeframe the trend is up.
I'll have to search for a screenshot I had of this principle. It's a chart with this exact pattern with a full explanation...
Another reminder to all...Most of the charts I post are food for thought, trade potentials or a chart that illustrates some principle of market movement (like this one). I then leave it to the trader to make their own decisions about taking the trade. I.E. Entry, stop placement, scaling in/out, et cetera. Every now and then I'll put these on a chart, but IMO in the long run it's better to make these decisions on your own.
Lets take our unfair share of money out of the markets together!
