A Triangle CAN appear in a wave 2...if it happens then we'd look for a simple wave 4
Bryan, don't get caught in the up and down counting of waves.....some of those labled waves you have are waves of lesser degree......that is how MW would count this......although at this point we would agree in direction, eventually counting waves as ups and downs will only make you start using words like subjective, not cast in stone, etc etc........
