Here are a few answers :

1. We can not allow somebody to work from home (at leat at the beginning) because of a trust issue. ( we do not know you enough yet to feel confortable allowing somebody off the internet to manage 1 million dollars for us from home).

2. In our experience people are more careful, more professional, and it is much easier to control the risk if they are in an office. Think of the Societe Generale problem of the MF Global problem of knowing what their traders are doing.

3. You will like working for us better because instead of making (lets say ) 2% a month on 100k (your savings ) you might be making 2% a month of 10 millions.

4. Once again, this is a job offer, some people are interested, some people aren't.
