There are several people in this forum who have taken cfg courses. Everyone I have " spoken" to says they are nice guys etc etc. I myself have spoken to a few of the mentors and I have mixed impressions.

What I can say for sure is that none of the people who have done the course that I have spoken to are trading sucessfully. Don't take this the wrong way. Most are not even trading at all, except demo accounts. That is not reality.

I agree with your ET comments on the UK mentor. If you are new to trading, I think it will be worthwhile to do a course as long as you can stick to the methods taught and give yourself time to learn.

Whilst I agree with many comments that there are good systems etc on this board for free the problem as I see it ( and as I experienced it) is that you could spend a lot of time trying different methods trying to find the best one with the best win ratio , lowest drawdowns etc. It is doesn't work straight away, you move onto something else and never truly learn the intricasies of a method.

Learn one method, learn money management, learn discipline and don't bet to big initially and you should be successful.

Kind Regards and the very best of luck to you.
