Way off topic here but your comment really deserves a reply!
That opinion is one shared universally by people sitting in warm homes, with a refrgerator full of food, driving to work in their big cars, and guzzling energy without a care in the world ignorant of the fact that energy sources are depleting fast. The US, albeit the biggest energy guzzlers, has the foresight to recognise the problem and do something practical about it by securing oil supplies in Iraq. I wonder how distasteful some people would find the war if the petrol pumps ran dry, there was no food in the supermarket, and they had to find wood to burn to keep warm, how many objections would there be then I wonder!
