Can a retail fx trader make serious money?

Any suggestion and help is greatly appreciated.

Considering the fact that most of the retail fx brokerages have less than 3 mio. USD net capital - does this fact have any implications on how much we can gain from forex? Can people make serious money trading FX retail?

3mio? Where are you getting your numbers from? More like 30 or 40mio for the mainstream ones.

Besides which there are new minimum capital requirements, a lot of the small firms will disappear I expect.

Depends what you consider serious money, if you want to make some money for decent living, then ofc. you can without too much risking. If you want to become a millioner then you have to risk a lot.
