| CTA FCM Registration I have printed and filled out the 7-R and 8-R forms from the NFA website. Pretty staight forward. I have to complete the asset sheet, the 1-fr-fcm and the fingerprint cards. I was wondering if anyone already registered as and FCM or CTA deals specifically in the spot market and not the futures/options markets and what differences, if any, there are in record keeping/disclosure procedures. I also was looking for suggestions as to what bank or orginization I should look into for buying a direct feed into the forex spot markets for developing a new trading platform. |

| Re: CTA FCM Registration The disclorure requirements for CTA's that deal specifically with spot forex is the same if it were futures & options. In order to be registered as a CTA, you need to pass the series 3, and must follow all the rules that the www.nfa.futures.org (NFA) expects of a registered CTA, FCM, IB or AP. The bookeeping requirements are the same, as well as the audits that you will have to undertake every 3 years. Our firm uses futuresource work-station for its data-feeds. It includes live spot forex streaming quotes. The cost is about $300 dollars per month. www.futuresource.com |
