| Re: Daily schedule why make it complicated... i trade only london and US sessions.. so one hour before the london market.. check the trends of the major currencies ( EUR,USD,JPY,GBP,AUD) .. and see if the trend is allready taking shape during the asian markets... List all the possible signals on whatever pairs i am trading. And if the setup is not formed completely .. i ll make a note of how long its goin to take appriximately. put the trades where the setup is confirming with the stop-losses. thats it... after 30 min, check the signals again and the trades in place... if any stop-losses to be moved to break-even.... |

| Hello guys. I'm pleased with your interest in this issue. Ok. I'm about to describe my trade day. My time zone is GMT (London) + 1 I've got two regimes. The first is night trading and the second is the day trading. I don’t switch these regimes according to actually needs because I don’t like to change it very often. It is nonsense to change it more times during the short time period. I apply the first when I have any other duties then I trade during the night. Then I go to bet at 8:00 p.m. and get up at 2:00 a.m.. Thus I trade YEN to morning. Around the 8th a.m. I have to pay attantion to other duties. After I finish with other duties around 3 p.m. I start to evaluation of trades during last night. This takes about hour in accordance with amount of trades and quality of trades. (I've got recoded every my move in the market in my trading journal. I save pictures of all my trades to my journal for later analysis. I analyse all trades over and over again in free whiles and every weekend.) After evaluation of last trades I make preparation for coming night. I watch some news, charts and I watch what can be useful during the night. I make notes about my observation and then I start study literature about trading. I read several pages about trading and have a dinner. Before go to bed I catch learn some English. Sometimes I have lessons of English in this time. Then I take a shower and go to sleep. And here you can start to read from the beginning. The second is day trading. This is applied when I have no other duties. I like this one. Then I sleep during the night and trade during the white day. Then I also have more time. In this regime I get up at 6:30 a.m. I start day with preparation for coming day. I watch news and charts from longer timeframe. I’m concentrated to GBP and EUR and USD at this time. Then I make trades and honestly record every my trade or only interesting situation for last analysis. This takes time to lunch. After lunch I read some literature (around one hour) about trading and I also start more concentrate to USD. Around the 5 p.m. I stop trading and start evaluation of records in my trading journal. Then I try to improve my English and have a dinner and take a shower and go to bed. During trading I often learn some English and analyse my trading journal or study and literature about trading. This is often when I wait for my best moment to entry the market. I’m full of expectations of your regimes. |

| Re: Daily schedule Quote:
Your schedule is much more structured than mine. Basically, I get up in the morning and work (trade) until I go to bed, but during that time I mix in all sorts of other activities, such as writing, programming, hobbies, errands, etc. as I see fit. My style of trading has changed as a result of my rather unscheduled schedule. Originally I was strictly a short-term day trader. It would drive me crazy to leave positions open overnight or while running an errand. Consequently that didn't work very well because I would feel compelled to close positions when I wasn't around to babysit them. Now, I am becoming more of a swing trader and it fits my non-schedule much better. Now my trades often stay open for many days, and only occasionally do I feel the need to set stops or limits if I'm concerned about short-term timing and can't be around. So, I trade from 7-10 AM EST almost every day Monday-Friday, and still do a lot of day-trading during that time, but after that my hours are very unpredictable and my trades are focused on longer time frames. Coincidentally, the move to longer term trading has also been very good for my bottom line; my profits are better and more consistent than ever before. |

| Re: Daily schedule Hallo All, I live in a the timezone GMT+2. Almost Central European Time. I usually wake up between 3-4am Gmt when I switch on my computers. While it warms up I brush my teeth etc. Then I open my charts and check the prices of the 2 pairs I trade. If needed I will make adjustments to my trades. This takes no more than 5minutes. This is also in the middle of the Asian session. My trades are long term in essence and this allows me the freedom to do a lot of things away from my station. I usually arrange meetings errands etc for the early mornings CET which brings me back to my station at the crossover time EUR/USA at 13.30 GMT. I never watch the computer for long periods of time, but rather "visit" it every so often for 5 minutes at a time to update myself on pricemovements while I was away. During these visits I will adjust my trades according to the latest movements. I always have two trades open, one each in the USDCHF and the EURUSD. These trades usually consist of multiple positions spread over a range of prices and different accounts. I have to agree with a previous post that trading the longer term has allowed me more time for myself and bettered my bottomline profits. My style of visiting my station regularly for a few minutes at a time does not tire you out and I can stay focused at lot longer. Most days I switch of the computers at 21.00 GMT. During this time I might have been in front of my screens for half an hour at the most. When I spend time in front of the screen it is to write something(laboriously) or playing a computer game(Counterstrike). Whenever I wake up the next day the same scenario repeats itself. My trading style is a relaxed regimen of low intensity with virtually no stress to me or my family. |

But when news are released, I withdraw my orders and close my positions. I don't bet on luck. |
