Hi there


I have been looking around for a new broker. Being based in the UK I have been using the CMC spreadbet offering for a number of years but I am now considering leaving my current job to trade on my own account. While CMC has proved a reasonably satisfactory platform, I have had a few bad experiences where the CMC quote have fallen unnecessarily through a stop loss only to rise up again afterwards. So I have looked around for a company which offers better trading conditions and does not run a book on its clients positions. I have looked at many brokers, both spreadbetters and forex dealer and I am impressed with the offering of www.futuresbetting.com. Does anyone have any experience with them?

They offer tight spreads but also claim to cover all bets by actually purchasing the underlying futures and only taking profit on the slight spread differential available to them in the futures market. I have run the system for some time and compared the forex future quotes to those offered by CME and found them to track exactly.

I will continue to examine their performance and report back as my account progresses. In the meantime I would appreciate any comments from those who have had any dealings with the company. The platform is not for beginners but does present the best opportunity for reliable tight spreads and scalping onforex futures that i have seen.

I look forward to your reports on the spreadbetting you do. I am interested in spreadbetting on Forex for the tax efficiency it offers in the the UK. I am sorry I can not help with info on the company you mentioned or spreadbetting for it is a subject that I know nothing about as yet.
