Hi,

Anyone know of any positions available? I was an analyst for BigTrends.com, but won't be there as of the 15th. I dealt with Futures and FX. Got a solid FX track record, futures record is pretty volatile, but the strategy is scalable to equities as well.

If anyone could help out, I'd really appreciate it.

My FX record is the best - since inception last July (7/18/05) I've returned 52% with a max peak-to-valley of 5%, all on 4:1 leverage.


I trade Daily, Weekly, and Monthly bars the most. I've also begun a few Quarterly trades and I have one Yearly on the Canadian.

Hey Pinger,

My partner broker MirusFX has audited my results.

I'm now running a signal service on my own, as well as managing a small amount of a Forex Fund offered through a well-known CTA. Thanks for the heads up.

Curious ... dont you need a series 3 (CTA) to manage funds in FX?

Hey Ezekiel,

It depends on the firm. Some places won't let you do it (GFT) whereas others like F X C M will allow it, but you can't collect the pip rebates on your own volume unless you are NFA reg'd. Also, I'm more of a "sub advisor" than anything else - basically I provide the research/entry/exit/stops and the CTA who manages the rest of the fund places the orders on behalf of me. He's only allocated a certain amount for my research for now, since we are just beginning our work together.

I see ... so basically the one who places the orders/manages the fund needs the CTA license.

Thats on my to do list ... Im considering opening up my own fund on down the road, we'll see

i don't wanna sound strange but in fakt to sell recomendations or so called signals to the puclic you HAVE TO be registered with cftc and/or nfa and know as CTA to the public... sorry but otherwise it's illegal

Not that i'm looking, but i've always wondered how people get jobs as traders at the big institutions and hedge funds?

I have 1 connection that helps put together money managers with investors. He posts on this board from time to time. Other than that, I have no clue how those bank traders get to be where they are.

Not sure what your issue is against me or my business, but the results speak for themselves. I have losing times just like anyone else, but I've been able to survive the markets for almost 2 years now and as you can see well on top...

so you are running a biz or just another scam ?
show me your license and i'll apologize but if you are trying to sell something you have to be able prove some things to cftc right ?
