its my first posting on this forum.

I am not sure if my posting is most appropriate for this section or to the other few available. As my posting covers so many related areas!

Anyway, I am seeking from serious users experiences on FX platforms in general.

For sometime now I have spread my funds across few platforms to minimize risks associated to funded accounts. So far, I do believe that I have tried virtually all of the platform providers that are known to have integrity with the way they do business with their clients in the industry.

Unfortunately, I havent been very loyal to all, and used only a few for a long time. The other providers I kept changing after evaluating their and my performance on a regular basis.

I went back to some of the providers to try out their second platform updates/latest platform versions. But in recent time I have noticed that many have started to updated their various versions more frequently than ever before (web based/uploaded/third party versions/mobile versions)!

Now, its overwhelming to see some platforms what added features their platforms now have. I am usability, functionality and detail oriented, thats why it takes much longer to evaluate each and every one of those as an individual, and I do feel most rankings disregard my needs.

Therefore, I thought it might be a good idea to inquire with those who are in the same situation to exchange on first hand experiences!

You are serious about FX and putting considerable time & resources to improve your own performance against major indexes.

As a serious trader you know what you are doing and have funds of at least US$25000 and at least US$125M on average per month trading volume per provider. Having said this hopefully, will eliminate those of you who know a little bit of something and think they have to tell the world about it in a big way...!

So lets talk about the basics shall we. If they offer differing options to log into their system(s), (FX web based, uploaded FX version, and FX mobile, as well as API if available). Pls indicate your user experiences accordingly, and why you specifically prefer that option only!

As to the platformequal importance)


- overall usability (user friendliness)
- functionality (high value added features)
- on which market do they base their quoted spreads (US, Europe, Asia)
- security of platform/user accounts
- customer service performance (virtual as well as 1-1; problem solving, attaining your needs)
- pricing (pips, commission, one off fees)
- level of guaranteed user funds (their membership in industry associations/regulatory bodies)
- overall what they provide to users; in your opinion could they be classified as below market participant, market follower, or could they be classified as a leader in the overall market with their product(s) or in that segmented market (low, average, high volume traders)


Very important, is the platform supplied by a third party or created by the platform provider?

On the main trading screen I must be able to see differing currency either buy/sell or just buy and sell separated trades that I posted with the expected basic details, and more details by clicking through.

Also, how does the platform provider segment their client base i.e. low, average, high volume traders?

Pls do indicate what FX trading software it is based on(windows, linux, mac), and what was your experience so far? (reliability)

Also pls do indicate are their FX game, exactly the same version as their real web based FX trade/loaded Fx trade account, and what are you if at all able to do on the FX trade mobile version and what not?

If you use the FX trade version on your mobile phone, could you pls also indicate what were your experiences so far with that version of the platform?

Which mobile/smart phone did you use it with, and what were your experiences so far? Pls do also incl. your experiences that you had while you traded with it while you were overseas! Have you evaluated your performance on the mobile version with your uploaded and web based FX trade versions?

To validate it more, could you give some buy/sell quotes that you received, on which version(FX game, FX trade, uploaded version, web based version, mobile version, with dates, and times etc

I am looking for well balanced, reasonable first hand user experiences only from serious and committed FX traders, because only than will your reply be useful.
