At the moment, we have templates where we can store sets of indicators to be used for different occasions. I was thinking that having overlays would be kewl as an additional feature.

For instance, I am using e.g. the popular template. I want to call up an additional pair of B Bands + some moving averages. Instead of setting up an additional template for this "new" scenario, I want to call up this "B Bands + some moving averages" as an overlay that would be on top of my popular template.

If I have stored the "B Bands + some moving averages" with the popular template, I couldn't use this "B Bands + some moving averages" again when I need to use e.g. the Layers template -- since I will have to make this into another template. It can be done of course, either that or I manually add these indicators again one by one for each new scenario I meet; but I thought having overlays would be really neat and useful.

Just a thought...

You can group them into a custom indicator and apply them at once as though they are a single indicator.

Oh I didn't realise that. How can one do such things? No coding I hope...

Some coding is required. But if you are adding the standard ones and nothing exotic, you can reverse engineer using indicators from the custom indicators list. Just remember that you cannot have more than 8 lines, if I am right.
