Smile The End Of The Euro The Eu?

Could today mark the beginning of the end of the Euro EU? It might just be the case. The second NO to the EU constitution today might be the final blow to the same s that a little over a century ago tried to conquer Europe by supporting the rise of Adolph Hitler. This time they have tried it with a much more subtle strategy it looks as if they will fail again. What seemed to be unthinkable just about a year ago might actually become reality relatively soon. For the first time today a ´surprise report´ appeared in the German Media that has German Finance Minister Hans Eichel German Central Bank President Axel Weber ´privately´discussing the failure of the single currency. The rise of this currency was almost entirely due to the creation of a future image of European Economic Growth within a Marxist Garden of Eden called Eurol. Rich nations like Germany are struggling to prevent a total financial collapse. What a coincidence that this year the ruling party of Gerhard Schroeder called for early national elections the mainstream media consensus as of right now is for the Opposition Christian Democrats to win by a substantial margin. But could this ´surprise´media report hint to a REINTRODUCTION OF THE DEUTSCHE MARK???? In my humble opinion this artice exactly points to that the other nations of Europe might just be waiting for this opportunity . In case this should happen full national sovereignity of the nations in Europe would be reestablished all borders likely be up again the EU put in the books of history ... we probably would have a few more markets to trade :-)! I think these are all signs that this currency is ready for the dumpster!

Interesting although the rise of fascism in germany was in the 1930's not 1905 parallel though is there high unemployment immigration being resented (turkish pakistani in Germany) etc... although the demise of the Euro I find to be highly unliikely IMHO

Re: The End Of The Euro The Eu?

cash1!!

I'm european like you. French people have said "No". ? What's the problem?
Democracy is that. Now politicians will have to re-write a new Constitution a better one.

I'm a trader like you. Believe me I do not want to go back. I do not want to trade more currencies.

Rich nations like Germany are struggling to prevent a total financial collapse.

So euro is the single reason of that mess? Nice. Come on!!!

This time they have tried it with a much more subtle strategy it looks as if they will fail again.

Who are they?

Re: The End Of The Euro The Eu?

Rollingstone I believe those bastards are getting on a bit by now.

Catalonia I am not European look at my Flag that´s something totally different. you are not European your flag looks like Romanian to me. That´s something totally different as well. In a few decades they are telling you that you are a world citizen then you believe that right?
No the Euro is only one reason for the big mess. The major reason for the mess is the comatose state of mind of the citizens of each nation. Reminds me of Pavlov´s Dogs.
Who are they? How about your friendly money printing central banker.

Re: The End Of The Euro The Eu?

CASH1 might be on to something. The following is a quote Fx Street

------------------------

"Any euro recovery is unlikely to be that long-lived there is still some downside" said Mackinnon

Some commentators are even predicting the currency's eventual collapse in the future following France's rejection of the EU constitution tonight's expected "no" in the Netherls

Charles Stanley analyst Stuart Thomson reckons the euro's demise is "inevitable" by 2020 added that there is a greater than even chance that at least one country will break away the currency zone by 2008

The prospect of a withdrawal was raised earlier in a report in Stern magazine that suggested that German officials have discussed the possible collapse of the single currency. Though a spokesman for German finance minister Hans Eichel sought to downplay the report the suggestion fitted in with the underlying gloom surrounding the euro. Most observers think the euro will on balance survive but faces significant hurdles in the months ahead if confidence is to be restored. Nevertheless the possibility of a break-up of economic monetary union cannot be ignored

"While the overall probability may still be small the tremendous implications such a development would have on capital markets imply that investors can no long ignore it" said WestLB analyst Michael Klawitter

------------------

Just food for thought

Re: The End Of The Euro The Eu?

Next bwagon

Just a few months ago everyone was talking about the Euro replacing the dollar as the global benchmark currency. Now we're talking total collapse.
Which is it? Wait a few years we'll all be bowing before the Yuan... Until that "collapses". Business as usual...
