Thankx for the good post n Congrats for booking profits. Shall thank you to clarify this - Should Stop Loss not be for protection against Loss placed below the Long entry point i.e. below 166.69 ? Learning from these posts. Thanks.

Vilas-

If you look at his last post, it says "Adjusted Stop Losses". I'm sure he placed his original trade @ 166.69, priced moved up into profit, and he "adjusted" his stop to 168 to make sure he doesn't turn a winning trade into a losing one.

But you are right...when you place an order for a long entry, the stop price is below the current price.

Thanx G550 for the clarity.....the market is still a bit ODD for me to read or take any position in any direction on crosses as the market awaits Bernankes statement on Inflation.....here are a list of crosses i'll be trading :

EUR/JPY
GBP/JPY
GBP/CHF
AUD/JPY
CHF/JPY

Thanks G550 - M new to this, so thanks again. Looked up your other posts for a guy with "no experience" you seem to have delved deep into EWs ! Wish you Good Rolling with the Waves. Personally, I couldn't figure out the counts so gave up on it - do pretty well with other aids.

What is your consulting-field ? And whereabout are you in US ? Been there a long time ago - great.

Best Regards,
Vilas.

Thanks to you too Phillip - also for your postings - there are so few of them for crosses - I too am into them - becomes a corroborating opinion. I think you are into Fractals - my signals are conventional.

Happy Trading,

Vilas.

No problem, Vilas. Wave counting, fibonacci, and simple trend lines have worked well for me since I began using them a few months ago. Wave counting becomes quite habitual after a while!

I am no longer in the consulting field as I have relocated recently. However I was in IT Consulting. But now I am happily residing in Southern California.

Good luck, Vilas.
