Today's Signals (3/31)

TODAY'S SIGNALS (3/31)
---------------------------------------
A slight delay today, had to do an extended minus 7 search.
eNNya says "EURUSD, stay long, move the SL off today's open".

eNNya says "USDJPY, stay in long, move the SL off today's open" This processing ALSO took a little longer to process due to extended minus 7 search. The performance report was one of the worser ones too; when I see them like that it means it was right on cusp of a turn-around so barely chose this direction again, even though there is a downward stretch now to our USDJPY. I personally will stay in a long, but if you want to test waters for a reversal, due at your risk, sure can't lose by taking this point as a trailing stop in meantime though!

non-farm payroll tomorrow!

Hi everyone, I hear non-farm payroll eco figures out tomorrow at 8:30amEST, first Friday's of the month. These can cause a jump in either direction. Whether my last USDJPY on the cusp performance mentioned in today's Sigs or just that your initial equity isn't built up much beyond the $1,000 yet and you don't want to risk taking a SL hit that takes bit more than 10% out of it, then be my guest and opt-out of trading now in preparation. Since most all of you are demoing with an initial equity and couple months hasn't passed by yet for you like it has for me to build-up in sawtooth manner an equity such that the 10% initial bet drops down to 8% to 6% for even safer money management before I switch to double minis whence equity doubles......thus, use your own judgement if you'd like to drop-out of trading 'til my next Sig to re-enter at that point. eNNya actually takes into account all days for past 4 years, even ups 'n downs payroll figures, so if I'm at beginning of that 10% equity-bet point, I too might choose to opt-out of trading 'til next day. As is, win or lose, I'll just stay put as in long-run it all averages out, 50-50 whether I SL or gain. Could be I'm in that frame of mind because equity built-up pretty good in past couple of months, so can absorb hit easier.

Folks, Don't forget to see my 2 month summary of EURUSD this Mon eve or Tues morn. Good to study to get idea of that macro-bird's-eye-view way of operating I was talking about yesterday.

TGIF tomorrow, best to you all!

Today's Signal (4/1)

TODAY'S SIGNAL (4/1) + mostly got thru payroll econ ok
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, of course, ........... not yet...............i.e., April Fools! Anyhoo, seems 4 hours before closing we got thru worst of a .....fortunately, positive going payroll activity 150 pip spike, whew! what I tell ya! Other direction and our "clock would've been cleaned" [stop would've been hit] (jossin' ya.............. seriously, like macro-bird's-eye-view discussed, it'll all average out in the long-run wash, so don't matter). Anyone want to chime in on what occured on smaller periodicity this morn?

So today is Friday, my platform freezes everything at 5pmEST so I can see if I can sleep in 'til afternoon (work graveyards) and not worry 'bout time crunch before doing processing at my leisurely pace (mentioned in Intro). Anyone have different platform closing times due to eBroker or other part of world? Curious, had noticed some times some differences. It wouldn't matter in long run on this Friday close thing also, either do 5pmEST (GMT equivalent) close trade then re-open trade Sun same time,.....ooooorrrrrrr....use your platform close/open times instead as your freeze (no need close/open trade), in long run, as long as you do same thing over longish time, "it'll even out in the wash". Follow? Let me know if anyone out there has some different platform or place on globe differences, for curiosity and April-1st entertainment < tee-hee>.

Sometime later this afternoon PST I'll do processing and post results, so come back this eve or Sat/Sun and you can enter trades when your platform allows.

TODAY'S SIGNALS for real now

TODAY'S SIGNAL (4/1) .....for real this time
------------------------------------------------------------------------
eNNya says"EURUSD, Stay in that Long, believe it or not. Don't forget your 120 SL moved off closing price, albeit its only about 10 pips difference". Seems some fluctuation, but she chooses to go for a wave that most likely is still existing to move north.

eNNya says "USDJPY, close that Long, finally, and open a Short". I got 192 pips per my report area on my platform, best of the month for USDJPY that was!

Have a good weekend folks! Spring has sprung!

Correction on SIGS for Sun Opening 5pmEST!!!

Correction on SIGS for Sun (4/3) Opening 5pmEST!!! (and don't forget its time change time, "spring forward" 1 hr early Sun morn.)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
I've started a monthly eNNya system fine-tune and data consolidation (need to remove 1 month of bar data from beginning of 4 year dataset each month because otherwise datasets would grow unwieldy causing longer and longer processing time, so we don't want things out of control), and it has occurred in middle of weekend, as it shall in future, but sorry that I hadn't planned that out in regard to Sigs given you on Fri, from now on on Maintenance weekends, end of the month, I definitely try to remember to give you Sigs by Sun 5pmEST instead of Fri. As is, since both pairs right on cusp of possible moves and/or consolidation period they had both changed after the 1 month removal of data and maintenance tweek. Again, sorry for some inconvenience.

Here are the current correct Sigs:

eNNya: "EURUSD, close Long and go Short, remember your 120 SL".
EURUSD is now not staying in a Long.
eNNya: "USDJPY, stay Long". Since you went short, this is only place you lose a few pips for my apparent fickleness, sorry, close that Short and switch to a long where we had been for couple of weeks. Seems eNNya is testing the waters for yet further Long movement.

Thank you!

Hi Jerry,

By any chance do you have backtests of the NN signals/trades you are posting?
