Can't access chat room - suggestions?

Hi,

I've written 2 emails to the Moneytec guys saying how I can't access the chat room anymore, but have had no reply. I'm wondering if this is tied into when the format of the site changed since i can no longer log out from the site either.

My original username and password are not being accepted, although the help menu suggests just using a username without a password but that doesn't work either. I haven't been into the chat for 6 months or so but I can't get any access at all now. Can anyone offer any help since the Moneytec admin aren't responding to me? Thanks.

Just put a full stop after your username, eg. "bobc." and it should work.

yes that does the trick, and I just found the other thread about this in the correct section - ooops! It's strange though that that's not mentioned in the help with login page. Thanks for your help.

not sure if you tried this, but chat basically will let you in regardless of username.
the trick is to make sure your not trying to enter with a name that exsists in the moneytec database.

in my case I just put a dot on the end of my username eg
darkstonexa becomes darkstonexa.
some peps put 1's or anything else you they fancy on the end of theirs its up to you.
you can leave the password field blank and just hit enter.
that should let you into chat.

I wouldn't hold your breath on them fixing chat anytime soon.
its almost if they don't seem to care.
I hope thats not the case.

I have a different problem - when the chat window comes up there is just the Java coffe cup showing over and over. Any help please on how to get in.....thanks

can anybody help please - moneytec admin where are you when we need you ? Can't get the caht room - just a coffee cup or an 'x' in a box showing.....
