If I had to put up with all the non-related trading crap that has been exibited in the chat room of late, sometimes vulgar, sometimes sexist, in fact most of the chat in that disgusting vulgar chat room has nothing to do with trading anyway, so why would you miss it ? I'd probably want to pull the pin as well

ZenTrader, I agree about the negative parts of the Chat Room. I just tried to overlook the negative and pull out any trading information that was useful.
Plus it was helpful in keeping me up in the middle of the night while trading from the west coast of the U.S.

I notice 5-6 people listed as chatting in the Chat Room, but I still can't enter.
Do you think it has something to do with my recently updating my Java to the most recent version? Everything else I use with Java is working.
I miss the Chat Room.

Does anyone know of an alternative?

It has nothing to do with your java.
Its a moneytec problem.
Supposedly if you re-register you can get back in or if you follow cb76 method further up in this thread you can also get into chat.
but to be perfectly honest
a: I very much doubt moneytec are going to bother fixing the problem

b: most of the regulars have found new pastures and are unlikly to be back.
so I would recomended just finding a new chat somewhere else.
