Email links going to unexpected thread pages

Same problem here and it's more annoying than anything.
It's been this way on my end for a couple of weeks now.

My new normal drill when forum page finally loads completely(*) is to hit end key so can use nav bar links to page xx - all due to this unresolved issue.

(*)site loading times have increased
another gripe I've got with this new site is that it takes many seconds for page to be rendered on screen... meaning that the new site is way more complicated and hence way more buggy sorry MoneyTec, but that's what happens when one starts the pretty up the site mods!

Ok... I don't have a spare Cray to plug into my home network to handle this increased site complexity.
Just normal [underpowered] box which used to be very content with this forum's pages... but not any longer.

Hello ukt,

Problem Solved!

I actually logged out for the first time in nearly two weeks. This cleared my cookies which was evidentally the root of these problems...at least that's how I see it on my computer.

Regarding the slowed page loading problem. Mine seems to be fine now too.

Hi west - I've just spent time logging out [and out and ...] and message repeatedly says all cookies cleared.

If I revisit the site, let's say by clicking the email link, I come back into the wrong thread page (as usual!) and I am auto logged onto the site again.

Well, anyway - am happy for you that the issue has gone back to Dr Who's domain
