Hi Trendline,
So do you use Opera?
Yes the security isue, is a big isue to me, I like online banking.
Al browsers can do auto-passwords, and even though you get a promt, its still risky(very easy to click on ok).
With firefox, you get a Master Password, wich is used when your other passwords are encrypted. So to get acces to your password file(the file where your browser saves your passwords). You need this, master pasword, the key to the encryption. When you first set up this password, it shows you a bar, that indicates the strength of the password you use. Mine is a full 100%. I had to write it down. So it still gives you the use of auto complete, but with more security. If a 'hacker' got hold of your password-list file, he can't just de-crypt it, he needs to get your Master Password first(the encryption key). And if this is strong enough, even with a super computer, he'll take years with 'brute-force' to crack it
And all pop-ups is stopped with firefox, no need for popup blocker software.
And then there is tab browsing
Its realy a pitty the chat service doesn't work, but I prefer a forum to a chat room.
cheers
ps. MoneyTec, where does the problem lie, with FireFox, if thats the case I'll let them know about it
