Re: Is any country that don't allow its citizens trading online?

I don't know about other countries but here in India, speculation in forex market (including forex futures) probably is not permitted (futures/options/other derivatives on other products like financials, commodities etc are allowed). There are some exceptions also. I am saying 'probably' as the authorized government officials also seem to not have a clear idea about this as our currency is not yet fully convertible although the government has taken a liberative approach and it's moving at that direction step by step slowly but steadily. I am also kind of confused as the government actually is trying to restrict speculation on our currency (INR) but that should not have any effect on speculating on exchange rates of majors. I don't know but India seems to be a typical case.
