| Anyone with Desktop Market Analysis? I am interested in speaking with anyone like myself who signed up with Desktop Market Analysis put out by Stephen Pierce. There appears to be a few things that were promised on the website that are not exactly there once you sign up. They are now telling me I am the only one who has brought up this fact and so I would just like to confer with you on it and see if this is true and if you think it is any big deal. Post, PM, email me really don't care. For those courious what I am talking about the URL is: http://www.desktopmarketanalysis.com I am not complaining or bashing it. All I am saying there appears to be something strange going on here. |

| Hi, If they haven't delivered to you what was 'described' I would ask for a refund. This is yet another internet offer by the infamous Stephen Pierce (impulse profits, etc, etc,). I'm sure we will here more of this type of comments. |

| I've just subscribed too...what's the feedback? Fastdraw and cmc...what's the news? As for me, I've observed their "recommendations" for a short while and I'm not seeing much of value yet. What does appear valuable to me is some basic candlestick commentary (I need brushing up in that). Otherwise, the Fibonacci "analysis" isn't too stunning so far. | Well what I was courious about in the webpage ad I responded to it showed a screen shot that once you subscribed you would get. This screen showed all the basic setup info. Where all the major sup/res lines were elliot wave analysis, over all trend direction, and more, plus the video analysis. Well I figured since my time window for trading is so short right now I could possible save myself some time and risk of making a mistake by having this all figured out for me. So I subscribed to check it out. Once I subscribed I found all I was getting was the video showing me what the daily chart looks like and how to draw fib lines on it. Well I know what the chart looks like and I can draw fib lines, what I wanted was the analysis chart. So I wrote them an email asking where was the Market Analysis, I got a very smart ass answer back of "Aren't you watching the videos?" I responded back with quotes from the webpage and a bitmap of the chart I was suppose to get. Then I got a response of "well no one else has complained, or brought this up, I will speak to Stephen about it". So far no word back. So I guess my question to you is this something you noticed was missing, and did you bring it up to them? |

| i agree totally with your comments re the web page i didn't bring it up with them, i wrote it off to a bad experience on my part, and couldn't be bothered with the fight i knew would arise from it i just want my money back, though know i won't get it i knew instantly (from the first download) that the site was BS |

| 1: notwithstanding their 'Terms of Use' and 'Disclaimer', 'Impulsive Profits Inc' are a US company quoting 'required' CFTC Disclaimer rules. Whether or not they are registered with the CFTC, need to be or not, make an enquiry with the CFTC: http://www.cftc.gov/cftc/cftchome.htm regarding 'Impulsive Profits, Inc.' and 'Stephen Pierce', explain why you are enquiring; if needs be or asked to by the CFTC, file a formal complaint — it's what the CFTC is all about. 2: if you paid by credit card contact the issuing bank, their guarantee may apply and they may also become involved in obtaining a refund. The last thing such operators want is to lose is the means to collect your money. 3: file a complaint with the Michigan office of the BBB, who may also try to assist you to recover a refund. Possible they may send a notification of your complaint to Impulse whether or not the 'company' is registered — highly unlikely with the BBB. Once you've done the above, leave it to those others to recover your funds. Make permanent copies of any and all communications between yourself and Impulsive Profits to provide others, but stop further communications with Impulsive. Keep us up to date. |

| This place really #$%&*%^ me off. After sending them another email showing them what their website advertised what I would get for the subscription, along with a bitmap attachment, this is what they sent back to me: Quote:
You know I have no idea why you are so insulting to me. I present you with undisputable evidence that I am correct including screen shot and url and you simple act like you don't see it and tell me I am confused. Once again here is a direct cut and paste from YOUR WEBSITE: Each selected market analysis includes extensive details so there is no confusion. You get... Fibonacci Analysis Elliott Wave Analysis Candlestick Analysis Support and Resistance Numbers Key Pivot Levels Momentum Updates Trend Analysis And more! …daily ...instantly on your desktop! AGAIN this is from YOUR website. You need the URL again, here it is: http://www.desktopmarketanalysis.com/cgi-bin/i.cgi?f=Jim Go look at it. Does it not say what what I have pasted above? Here is my analyses of your analyses: Fibonacci Analysis - Very basic stuff, Shows how to draw and read them, something I learned one week into my forex training Elliott Wave Analysis - Never ever even mentioned, not once, never happened Candlestick Analysis - Again only very basic elementry type of stuff Support and Resistance Numbers - Only in passing and never in any great detail. Only what line to look for a break, again very elementary. Key Pivot Levels - Never ever even mentioned, not once, never happened Momentum Updates - Again mention only in passing Trend Analysis - Not really, not with any great detail, I never even saw a trend line drawn, I sometimes wondered if Stephen even knew what a trend line was. I know I never saw him draw one let alone mention one. And more! - I defy you to tell me what more there is. There was nothing more. Just here is a chart, let me draw some fibs, look for it to break this line before entering. Geez tell me something I don't know. I consider myself a greenhorn, wet behind the ears rookie at technical trading and I could watch day after day of these videos and not hear one single thing that I could not have easily figured out on my own. So YES I have galdly uninstalled your software and my CLICKBANK PURCHASE RECEIPT# is XXXXXXXXX Jim Orr P.S. I was just wondering if I was also "confused" by what I saw when I put Stephen Pierce's name in the search engine of the CFTC website. Seems they have taken an interest in his past business dealings, haven't they? -------------------------------------- Now I just need to see how long it takes to get my money back. |

| Impulse profits, Buyer Beware!!! http://www.cftc.gov/opa/enf03/opa4739-03.htm Release: 4739-03 (CFTC Docket No. 02-15) For Release: January 21, 2003 MICHIGAN RESIDENT STEPHEN PIERCE SETTLES CFTC ACTION CHARGING INTERNET FRAUD VIOLATIONS CFTC Order Requires Pierce To Pay A Civil Monetary Penalty and Comply with Undertakings WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today the issuance of an order settling an administrative proceeding against Stephen Pierce of Ann Arbor, Michigan. The CFTC order, entered on January 21, 2003, finds that, from approximately March 2000 through July 2002, Pierce, a registered commodity trading advisor (CTA), sold subscriptions to his futures trading recommendation services through various internet websites. The order finds that Pierce touted his trading record and failed to disclose that it was based on hypothetical or simulated trading and not actual performance. Further, the websites overstated the profit potential for Pierce’s trading recommendation services and understated the risk of loss. Finally, as a registered CTA who acted as such, Pierce was required to keep certain books and records, including client or subscriber information. The CFTC order finds that he failed to keep such records. The CFTC order arises out of an administrative complaint filed against Pierce on July 30, 2002 (see CFTC News Release 4683, July 30, 2002). Without admitting or denying the findings in the CFTC order, Pierce consented to the entry of the order finding that he violated anti-fraud provisions of the Commodity Exchange Act, CFTC regulations requiring prescribed cautionary language when presenting simulated or hypothetical trading results, and CFTC recordkeeping requirements. Specifically, the CFTC order: finds that Pierce violated the Commodity Exchange Act and the CFTC regulations as charged in the complaint; directs him to cease and desist from such further violations; imposes a civil monetary penalty of $25,000; and directs him to comply with specified undertakings regarding representations made on his internet websites. The following Division of Enforcement staff are responsible for the case: Rosemary Hollinger, Scott R. Williamson, Robert J. Greenwald, Mark H. Bretscher, and Joy H. McCormack. A copy of the CFTC order can be found at www.cftc.gov.
