Good Indicators Book

I am looking for 1 good book on indicators. I'd like this book to list around 100 indicators and describe how they work and the math behind them. In any learning process I usually buy many books and only a small number of them turn out to be great. Most end up collecting dust while others have worn pages from reading them multiple times.

Please list one book and say why you like it. Make believe you could only keep 1 book on indicators on your shelf and have to throw away the rest of them.

Re: Good Indicators Book

Mikt6, one problem is that most charting programs use a different coding language so what's available for one program isn't available for another. Some programs have indicators written specifically for them such as http://www.jurikres.com/ — was going to say just for TradeStation but he's expanded and writing for 15 programs. MetaStock has addons/plugins often indicator based that like Jurikes' are password protected, must be purchased and generally the code isn't available.

http://www.paritech.com/education/technical/ has some of the info you're looking for tho MetaStock specific also
http://trader.online.pl/MSZ/!-MSZ-index-en.html lists 800+ indicators and displays them on charts so you get an idea of how they work, sometimes the math is discussed.

Another source would be MetaTrader 4, here on MoneyTec and the StrategyBuilder forum and
http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/grou...nd_Indicators/

Also those who code will adapt as well as originate indicators which don't become public, likewise in some charting programs, so to some extent what you may learn and then want to do will depend on the charting program you want to work with and the coding language you may need to learn in order to implement a specific indicator.
