UGMFX who are you kidding with this statement: "whereas when you work through a desk you can communicate to a dealer that most likely won't try and screw you. UGMFX"

Re: The Best Way on Forex

Well like I said, I really think it depends. When you're going directly to the interbank market slippage can occur. A trustworthy broker won't price you in somewhere far from where you asked, but with interbank, you can get placed VERY far away. This usually only happens during number reports though. So if you're asking me if I'd rather trade through interbank, under most circumstances- yes I would. But you should definitely be cautious during volatile stretches.

Also, you would usually need at least $50,000 to use it. It's a "bigboy's" market in the sense that when it comes to pricing, you get the next available price, whereas when you work through a desk you can communicate to a dealer that most likely won't try and screw you. UGMFX (www.ugmfx.com) offers both to their clients and you can download a demo of each to test the accounts out. Feel free to contact me with any questions. abamberg@ugmfx.com

Just wonder why, if you 'really know what you are doing", you need a signal service?

Re: The Best Way on Forex

I have to say that, no matter what system or service you are using (or not using), experience is still the best teacher. Earlier this year I was using a great system, but the market changed and I stopped using the system the way it was designed. In fact, I started doing something totally different that I was never even educated on & lost tons of money doing it. (I think some people call that Emotional trading) But the important thing is that I learned from that experience...had to walk away from the computer for about a week or so just to recoup and collect my wits again. It's just like boxing. If the other guy knocks you down...stay down long enough to come up with a plan and figure out what you're doing wrong before you get up again. Just make sure you do get up before the ref is done counting. Make adjustments and double check your strategy. But if the strategy works, work it.
