The Best Way on Forex

I have been trading forex successfully for two yearfs now. I agree with jere and jake, take the time to investigate and find a good teacher mentor with referrences. This will help you avoid likely failure. It is tough to be successful, but is possible. Also, donot follow the masses. They are suppling the stops that professional love to gobble up in a move agaist the heard. This is by and large a stop driven market, weather it de stop/losses or stop oders. In order to be successful, you must take the time to find creditable instruction and help. Happy Easter.

Been over a year since I posted to this thread! Still trading, still glad I found a mentor! Lost most of my money by over trading and not keeping good enough records of my trades (for analysis later). Slowly reclaiming my money from the sharks. Hope to still be here next year also!

Hi,
I am new to forex trading. I've downloaded MetaTrader 4 and demo RefcoFX.

1. I am having a problem with MetaTrader4. To view price of a currency not currently showing on the chart I right click the chart with my mouse and move it to the right. Then you can see previous prices. However when you let go of the mouse or when the current price is being updated the chart moves back to its original place and you no longer can see the previous prices. How do I stop this from happening? I want to study previous prices. I hope this makes sense.

2. Also, the price on Metatrader4 is different from that on the RefcoFX platform. Has anybody noticed this? Does anyone know of a platform where the two prices are the same.?

3. Are there any service available which tell you, either by email or text, when a particular event has occurred, say, when price crosses the 50 MA line.???
