Don't think "my level" is any different to yours, I have only just started making profit, still searchng for a trading style and discipline that I am completely happy with.

In fact I have spent 3 years not making anything, haven't lost either overall, so just need the next push up like you.

When to trade

This morning Kagi and Dema moved out of the Keltner Channel at 0525 giving a good up trade from 1.9120 -1.9186 when a pivot was hit.

Dema ia a double exponential 5 day moving average which has been smoothed and tuned. It is a very reliable indicator when used with KC and Kagi. Today 1/12 Kagi has worked it's way along the upper Bollinger Band and above Dema until hitting resistance and then tracking sideways down and through Dema suggesting a reversal. Since 0900 Indicator 75 has shown a down trend. Stand aside.

The combination of Kagi, Keltner, Bollinger and Dema is a superb, easy to use and close to perfect entry/exit system.

Getting there

You are way behind me. Get qualified with STA. After 3 years you should be making very good money.

OI you do nothing else but replicate my Kagi system you will make consistant profit and only lose if you really try.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the insight, don't know if you read my earlier post, as you say the signal was just after 5am, I got to my desk at 7am, so my question and problem is do I jump into the trade even though its already moved a fair bit, or do I say "missed it" and wait for the reversal in the meantime maybe watching the market go up another 50 pips ?

How do you work it.

Any chance of a couple of charts to illustrate your last post - still having problems with Kagi, it sounds like it does the same as Renko charts or am I mistaken.

Question STA ? MSTA ?

Excuse me, what is STA ? Phil is MSTA right ? Master of STA ?

Btw Phil, can you give more detail on your Kagi system, such as what is the Kagi chart treshold setting, I use 25 ? what is KC setting, I use 20,100% ? Is DEMA 5 on 5 ? I'm ask this because in my Kagi chart 60 minutes setting, the Kagi is still outside the KC. Thank you in advance
