Re: clarification needed on trading with fibs

Actually Dave, starting a journal benefits you more than anyone else. Trust me in this if you would. :P

Mick

On the links posted by Matsu, there is their website adress.

The software looks good. Now, at 7500$$.. But as a pro trader, it seems you might get a demo..

Re: clarification needed on trading with fibs

hi mick,
im trying to figure out how to use the fibb ratios, could you please tell me what charting package would be the best to use. I have forexnews.com charts but the ratios on this chart package dont seem to be the same as the ones you use.

kind regards

Re: clarification needed on trading with fibs

Hi gyda62,

I'm not sure what Mick uses but for what it's worth I use MetaTrader 4. It's a very good trading package and it's FREE. It has automatic fibs so all you have to do is click on a button and drag either up or down and it will give you your retracements, extensions/projections.

It allows you to produce the fibs Mick has demonstrated in his chart earlier on this thread.

regds,
dave

Even the free charts at e.g. netdania has "auto fibo"...

Hi gyda62

I use the same as Dave, Meta Trader 4, it's an excellent package. I just wish there was a broker in the UK or US who used them! I don't mind paying for stuff but I've not come across a better charting package.
