Are there any banks or trading platforms that will let me trade, say,

LRD	Liberia Dollars

or

UZS	Uzbekistan Sums

i.e., How does one trade big political news in really small countries?

It is a risky business to speculate on non-major currencies. you better live in Liberia or Uzbekistan to know their local currencies' behaviour from inside.

Thanks for the cautionary statement. These are very risky plays that make your basic speculative plays look like money under the bed by comparison.

Certainly there are banks or other intermediaries who will be willing to part me from my money. Any ideas?

Thanks. We're getting warmer. Unfortunately most of the pairs offer currency trading with established countries, though we might debate about Slovakia. If CMC is the best place to find exotic (read: developing/third world nations) currency trading then we'll have to wait a few years until liquidity creates a larger market.
