Please advice

I just started to look a best way to learn quick and get started the trading adventure. Last night, I was in a seminar sponsered by a company called 4X Made Easy where they told us to buy their software for $3000 and I thought their should be some other way to learn about all this and get on the top of it without spending that much money. Am I right? Can anyone offer expert advice as to how to begin to learn about foreign trading?

zeeman,
do a search on the thread about 4xmade easy the test. Spend a month trawling through these boards before parting with the money, there is a wealth of education here.
Forex trading is not as easy as a piece of software telling you to buy/sell, as i am sure other experienced traders will tell you.

There is no easy way to becoming a forex trader! Even by buying "systems" that claims to make it easy. The only way for these type of systems to work to its full potential, is to have a good trading knowledge and experience in order to succesfully follow these sytems. Monkey-see-Monkey-Do promises normally do not work due to various factors.

I do not play down these type of systems. It is a great way for a beginner to help in the actual trading learning curve, but please do not expect that everything is as simple as it looks. You still need to know what you are doing. Understanding your subject will go a long way towards making you succesfull.

Training will give you the basics and back ground but the only way to realy "test" the waters is to actually trade live. Look for systems/training which will provide ongoing support once you have parted with your money. There is no way that you can learn everything in a course and/or book. Mentorship for beginners is essential.

Following this forum will give you great insight into the nitty gritty of forex day trading and trading systems in general.

Good luck!

Regards

Hello zeeman,

welcome to MoneyTec forums.

Its good advise above.
I personally recommend you read, read, read all the pages in this forum. There is indeed a wealth of experience and knowledge here. You will find out about:
paid for and free chart packages, technical and fundamental analysis, brokers, banks, trading systems for intraday to weekly, It will take more than a month to read it all by the way. After 3+ yrs I am still reading, but I am trading.

The search function will help a great deal.

Good trading to all......................

3000$ to learn forex?!! How much will you trade?!

I think that forex knowledge is available for free over the web.You just need to do some effort to find it .
If you need courses to learn with less effort, then try some cheaper courses.

Zeeman - I learned the hard way - by trading for 2 years literally non stop. Afterwards, I signed on with a guy who taught me everything else I needed to know. I now trade full time and instruct people who need help getting started only because, well, the market is boring and helping others keeps me active and a little more satisfied. But everyone is right when they say read the posts and whatnot. But in the end, you'll need a mentor.

Keep up the hard work!

Calvin,

Learning the hard way by trading 2 years non-stop must be a very challenging road. But the point is you got where you wanna be and that's remarkable. Metering others can also be a rewarding effort and I might be interested to get any help that you’re offering. Why don't you just e-mail me and let me know about your instruction and how can I benefit from it.
