Forex on PDA

hey guys beginner here, just wanted to know, i got a dell x50v axim with windows mobile 2003 SE.

if there are others out there with a similar PDA could u let me know what browser and other software u are using if u trade with ur pda. for example i already got the mt4 platform down on the pda and it works great (for charting only) but i use oanda to trade and upon speaking to them i was told that their platform works on some pda's provided the pdas have the right software. so i was wondering if anyone could help me out here and let me know what they are using (ie the browsers, settings etc).

Any help would be appreciated. i am actually just gonna use the pda for monitoring the market but i would like it enabled for emergencies i.e if i need to close a previously open trade and i cant get to a comp or if i need to get into a very good trade....once in a while. please help as always ur views are greatly appreciated.
thanks

Re: Forex on PDA

I have tried the mobile platforms of Forex.com InterbankFX and GFT.

Forex.com - is a WAP webpage, very limited functionality (no charting), however you can open and close trades, set/change stoploss/takeprofit

InterbankFX - is Metatrader Mobile, very nice, especially on my square screen HP hw6515. It has the most functionality, charting, with easy to apply indicators and trendlines, the application loads quickly and is very reliable. It is also very simple to enter or edit trades. I switched to InterbankFX primarily for their trading software.

GFT - The mobile platform for PocketPC is java based, you have to download and install IBM's java for the PocketPC, it is slow to load, and doesn't work well with my funny shaped square screen. What is more, it is more difficult to enter trades with the GFT mobile software, you have to leave the charting screen and it is definately less intuitive.

The great news is that both InterbankFX and GFT offer free trials including use of their PocketPC software.
