Re: Forex Vs Stocks

as has been mentioned - forex offers greater margin - also due to the sheer size of the forex market, insider trading and other manipulations (such as an attempt to corner a market) are far harder to achieve than in other arenas.

Personally, i've lost more in stock trading that i have in forex. i'd rather take my profit (or loss) the same day trading forex then waiting days and sometimes months to make a lously few grand in stocks.

Hi there, I agree totally! I have traded the Australian market for about 3 years and have dabbled in FX for the last 2 or so. I really can't get a handle on FX trading, yet I make a living trading from a relatively small capital base on the ASX (using leverage of course).

Re: Forex Vs Stocks

Hey MaxDFx,
I love your language and the pattern your created. I am a newbie and have been on a demo a/c from . since late April this year and yet make much sense of the "fun" of forex. Honestly I enjoy forex even though I am yet to understand a thing but I am eager to learn. Please is there any help I can get from your knowledge and experience.

Re: Forex Vs Stocks

I have traded both stocks and the forex and I find that you will spend much more time studying stocks (if you play them right) than forex. When I choose to buy a stock or an option I have to research a whole lot of fundementals before I make my decision to go long or short because there are many different ways of analyizing earnings and a lot of times the earnings aren't even what people are looking at to base their decision on. You have to listen to conference calls, read financials, etc. Surprisingly enough, studying the economy as a whole as compared to studying one company is much easier because there are more defined variables to look at.
Hope this helps.

Forex, because of huge amounts of leverage.
