I am new to stocks and never trade in my life. I have very little information about trading. I want to open a online account. Please help me to decide a online borker who have low commission, fast execution and after hours trading option. I would like to start with $4000 and I will definety need a margin account. Please also give me some useful informaiton that are good for my trading. Thank you

I have 3 advices to give to you:

1 Choose a good broker that you can trust. I'm trading with Exto Capital, they are fair, I like their platform and the conditions to trade are good.

2 Don't take too much risk: try always to keep enough usable margin and diversify your investment

3 Learn about forex as much as you can and practice on a demo platform before starting with real money

Are you going to be trading full time? How many trades are you thinking of doing per day? How much volume? What are your goals? I'm assuming if you're only depositing $4,000 you will be limited by the PDT rules.

Are you talking about forex? If so never mind the above as it relates to equities, if not let me know.
