Getting set up

I've been trading futures full time for about 6 years now with mainly mechanical strategies on about 40 different markets. Now I've decided to start trading currencies on Forex and I'm trying to get myself set up so that I can start doing some backtesting with various trading programs that I use, TradeStation2000i is one of them.

So far I'm a little bit confused because the historical intraday data that I've seen so far is bid and ask quotes but no actual traderecords which I need to test systems. Is this available somewhere for me to buy?

Also, when you trade Forex you mostly trade the cash market, right? So I will not have to roll contracts and stuff like I do in the futures market?

I'm very grateful for some help.

intraday data source....

I bought some data from http://disktrading.is99.com/disktrading/ and it included the intraday data. Of course, I do not know how clean the ticks are..... However, I was able to use it to test some of my systems in 2000i which was all I wanted.
