Re: Giving up on Forex. Any last chance advise?

Recommend Peter Bain's study course, the real insights are from his online AM reviews. Give yourself at least 6 months trading on a demo account using his methods. Pivot points do work, however nothing works 100% of the time in trading. "Trading in the Zone" by Mark Douglas or an equivalent book on Trading Psychology, I believe is absolutely necessary. While a lot of the posts I've read on this thread are right on, most don't address a course of action to help people become a consistent trader.

Re: Giving up on Forex. Any last chance advise?

I can only say "to thyself be true". Are you giving up just because you have not made any money yet or are you giving up because you really believe that you have given it your best shot and it has be futile. Have you really got a sound methodology and good MM and they have failed? I have been in this thing for 2 years trading very small and learning. My long term plan is to trade profitably and cosistently. This I know will not happen overnight. I demo trded for a while and found it not too revealing. Right now I am trading live @ 10k batches. While I am learning I am not betting the house. I am using funds that I can afford to lose. This forum is the right place for good information. It has helped me to see that trading is dynamic. I have seen traders like stormygold and duresh and flashfx make and lose money in their posted recommendations. I have even traded inside stormygold's recommendations when I thought the distance between his stop entry and the current market position can give me some profit.

Please I do not mean to go on and on like this but if you are not true to yourself and give it you all, and grin and bear early losses you might as well give up now. You could be passing up on a rewarding aspect of your life

My 2 cents

Thumbs up Re: Giving up on Forex. Any last chance advise?

Dont give up. Read more and practise more using various trading platforms. Dont be in a hurry to make mega bucks. A little step at a time. Trade your money, dont borrow and trade what you can lose. DO NOT GIVE UP.
