Re: Giving up on Forex. Any last chance advise?

Not sure either. But I would consider that investing and not trading since someone else is executing according to their trading system. So what experience do you gain other than winning or losing money?

If you do it yourself, at least you can learn and tweak the system as your experience grows. Too many times people trust other's systems and then when they don't work (as will always happen as the market behaviours change), you have nothing {no money and no experience}.

I was close to giving up once as well. Take a break, get some fresh air outside, and think freely. There's a lot of BS in the industry via the MM's and scam artists you gotta learn to filter out of. The solutions exist, it's your job to find them.

Re: Giving up on Forex. Any last chance advise?

Yep beginner to Forex, someone said indices is better.

Anyway £5000 put in - £ 7000 made - £12000 lost.

Not very good.. BUT learning.

I've learned off a lot of free websites and I love Wayne on FXBOOTCAMP.

Check it out with a search in Google.

I was worried, but it seems a lot ( after reading here ) are going through the same pain......sorry..learning process.

I've learned the basics, support, resistance, trend, fib and all that. Now moving onto some software that has all that, but some extra tools like accumalation and distribution with turning points etc.

We'll see how it differs from the norm.

And you have nothing to do with them, right.

I promised my wife to at least recover the initital capital and repay the loan. I am holding on to the last 1K left with me. If I loose this remaining capital, that is the end of my trading career. I don't think I can trade my own anymore. I need a simple system that would make a few pips gain every week/month. Can anyone suggest any system/platform/indicator/software that would help to achieve my goal?. I am not greedy, just want to recover the money lost.

Awaiting for the last chance advises from the experienced.
I'll recomend to read A. Alder's book.

I think you mean A. ELDER's book, right? I think this trader is long gone, so no use in posting so long after the fact...perhaps MoneyTec should close this thread?
