I don't see the logic behind that last though. Why would anyone WANT to lose money? Study hard now, because you're going to have to do it sooner or later. Why wait before you lose money to do what you acknowledge you'd have to do anyway? And trying to goal for 100% a month, whether you have one day or 10 years experience is setting yourself up for failure. If you're positive, and don't get to 100%, you fail. If you lose, (and lose big considering you'd be risking a lot per trade) which is almost a definite with shoddy money management, you again fail. Its a lose-lose situation.

, its all depends on mentality of the people. I am a person , like to come back if i failed in something. it blow my head give me sleepless nights and a desire to get better ( though i hate failures) - it doesn't mean i will play to make me failure.
About 100% goal - its a goal and i will try my best to achieve it. if i dont' have a goal, i never achieve anything and it doesnt mean i will suicide if i didn't get a 100% in a month.

by the way,how much percent you make per month is related to how much

percent you risk in a trade. If you are risking 5% in a trade and the

approximate gain/month is 50%(ten times of the risk/trade),then you are

doing good.

By using any system/strategy(assuming it has an edge), you can make a living

by trading or you can blow up several accounts.its all money management!

The truth? Look on any chart, see the potential for yourself, now all you have to do is find a way to take advantage of those moves.

100% per month, lol, if you manage to make $1 profit per month during your first year you'll be doing well......

It all depends on how good you are, how good your broker and being at the right time and at the place. If your computer/interent fails than even the best trading set ups could fail. Limit is yours. Don't be discouraged by chicken-little who say "you can't do this, you cant do that" . You can't double your depot in a week, etc. If you set your mind so low then ofcourse you won't do that well and give THEM your money...

there are people that make 10% a DAY. Some do 120-200% a day. I said a DAY not a week. These guys don't know that they aren't supposed to do this. There has been a case when a person made 2k% (I said percentage points) in a day for two days which made his 10k deposit go to half a million in ~8 hours of total work.

In utions someone made 697% a WEEK.

Unfortunately the most that I've done was about 7% a depot in a day (on demo still), but I've just started with a brand new strat and attitude. And that was using only 5 lots and I've slept that day after puting entry orders....

myself.... i stopped thinking about what is the most I can earn per day and started thinking how much do i need per day to meet my weekly or monthly income goals. And it's more easily achieveable than trying to make 8 million dollars on one trade.

As my account grows, I can lower my leverage and trade less often and gain less pips and still make alot of money.

Right now i'm growing my account to 100,000. Then i'll live off some of the gains, some of the rest of the gains i'll reinvest to the fx account and the rest i'll put into a REIT stock. Once the reit stock has several hundred thousand in it, i can just live off those dividends and not even have to trade at all.
BUT i'll still trade for the fun of it. plus, once I'm earning from the dividends, then i can make my trades to get 8 million dollars per month!
