New trader needs guidance: Forecasts?

I have been trading demo acoounts for two weeks, by the way the first thing I learned is that it is best to wait until a currency wants to really break out (Eur/Usd). I have traded stocks for many years so I have a foundation in technical analysis that I will try and adapt to the different conditions in forex. The main thing that is killing me right now believe it or not is all the damned information on the web. I learned in equites to just keep it simple and limit yourself to a few good sources. I know surf the web for forex forecasts, market summaries, technical help and I literally get a freaking headache. All I desire to have is some good recommendations on sites to get currency news, is anything better than reuters, and free market forecasts. I need a place I can go to and see what the general feeling is about the direction of the major currency pairs. I would be lost if I actually had real money at a brokerage etc..

Re: New trader needs guidance: Forecasts?

Some time ago, when i start trade at forex i always used forecasts from different sites(like www.fx-charts.com , www.finrise.com , www.e-forex.ro) for control my own day strategy. IMHO it very useful 'cos when you create your strategy for forex trade you may correct it if see results and forecasts from other sites. Particularly this useful when you distrust - how trade today ? .... but it often bad day for trade and i just wait next day

You can also receive forex signals with entry point, stop loss and take profit levels. Some good sites that sell forex signals are www.fxmaster.net and www.fx-axis.com

Don't think the poster wants to know about a signal service taht shows how to lose nearly 1300 pips in one month, we can all do that without anyones help .

On a more constructive note I find Mellon bank one of the more accurate research sites, especially if you are interested in the fundamental side of the markets.

You could follow my blog to see how I trade. I am no expert but I do trade full time, and make money.

Re: New trader needs guidance: Forecasts?

Thank you for the insights about forecasts etc.. It just so happens the first site I usually head to each morning is the Mellon daily currency report. Also I found a good site at .babypips.com. It is good to know that other traders like the Mellon report. Thanks for the info!
