The World Cup will start in Germany in 1 week.

How much and how do you think this event will influence the forex market? Any long term predictions for eur/usd, eur/jpy? Short term predictions?

What happend in '94 when the World Cup was in USA?

The effect I can see it having is a bit less volume in the market because a lot of people will be watching the matches over trading...
