NO No....not the 5 min chart...........what I mean was The trade range on average was 5.30 min.....that means..who ever did this has to use shorter interval.........like 1 min or a tick chart.

But I still doubt that some of the trades was done prifitably within only 1 min!...that's not quite reasonable.....I'm not quite sure that this has happened for real....for 1 pip gain in 1 min.....even a short....the pair has to move 4-5 pips in less than 1 min to get that...........Is that possible?

I'm running the test by the end of this week for a shorter period...1-3 hrs on both EURUSD and EURGBP(I can't do it all day Coz I have to work and raise my baby)........because this month is my EUR study month let's see what is really the trick.

Thank for the idea anyway.

Another thing...the trade range was around 45 pips right?.........
2 trades of 600K on EURGBP and gain 35 pip each would result the same profit than this whole trading..........
4 trades of 300K on EURGBP and gain 35 pip each would result the same profit

And why trade 170?

Maybe it's what the data that signal some idea of spread trading.

But.I'm just a beginner.

Can we get the .mql for your expert? I would like to add more variables for the trade sizes etc, and properly backtest this.

It looks pretty good on MT4 backtest.

He may have been using high leverage, but was it really high risk? He started with $300. He could have easily lost the $300, but with the chance to make $8k, it really wasn't all that risky.

Also, notice that all the trades were on EUR/GBP. It's a cross so it's kind of spiky and almost always regresses to the mean. I do think it's possible to come up with a very profitable scalping system on pairs like that.

Thanks, TraderABC. Sorry didn't notice that.

My gut feeling is that this guy is on something. For those who argues, try to do ti on the demo account to see if you can ever get something even close. With that many trades, it can't be just luck. Well, I have to look closely and try to disassemble the strategy.

Other possibility: this is a madeup document. Was it posted by FXCM? Thanks.
