Someone made 2400% in 2 days in REAL account! Is that possible?

Can this be done? Sure it can, but on a demo only. Non of the reputable MMs will let you trade this way even on a mini. Most of it is not scalping it is picking. If only it was allowed, this strategy would be as close as it can be to risk free trades. But market makers will either shut you down or put you on manual with this kind of trading. May be there are some shady MMs that will allow it for a short while for some reason, but they can not allow it for too long. They will be picked to death. Think how much can be made with such strategy at $1,000 or more per pip.

RedDuke. Scalping is when you enter the trades with a target of less then 10 pips. Everyone picks their own enter criteria even for scalping. Please give me the definition of "picking" so I could understand what you are talking about.

Yes, there are money makers who have antiscapling regulations, but there are also ones that allow scalping.For example I know a broker who allows scalping on a spceial type of account - fully hedged ( min deposit 50 000 ) . This is a serious MM , one of the biggest in the industry, who supports interbank clients , and doesen`t support small clients.

There are money makers who allow arbitrage, scalping and only god knows what esle.

I haven`t seen or used all of the MM`s, so I can`t know about all of them,I only about the one`s I know. How can you say that no one will allow that kind of strategy ? You used all of them, you tried all of them ?

If you are thinking theoreticaly, then i have to dissapoint you my friend. Theory and practic are often far away from each other. All of the trading systems discussed on this forum were theoreticcaly 100% profitable, until the discussion and the testing took place.

I may be not right, but if so, please use the facts to prove it.

I obviously did not try them all. I tried some, and did a lot of research. I was only interested in the ones regulated by CFTC and NFA and who are in business for some time, otherwise it to easy to get into a bucket shop. All of the big ones openly confirm that they discourage opening and closing trades within seconds or few minutes because we can take advantage of no central exchange and instant execution and get the price which does not exist or is lagging, and then immediately close the trade. This is what is called picking. As far as 10 pips goal it can be scalping or not, it is mostly the duration of trade, you are in and out in a very short while.

I am definitely not thinking theoretically, I have experienced it. I would love to learn about MM who can allow scalping with no limitations. I would not even care if they prohibit it during major news releases. But by scalping I mean allowing unlimited opening and closing trades even within 1 minute. Please let me know, but I am only interested in reputable one.

Looks like a FXCM account, wonder if his account is still open, they said they look at scalping on a case by case basis.. I say if you found a way to make money then o well.. you can't complain about loosing money, thats why they put that forex has a lot of risk bla bla bla... but when you profit like this guy was doing you get critiqued i bet..

If you ask the person who made such feat to do it one more time, with real money, in front of your nose, and succeed, and can do it again and again, well the answer should be a big "YES!", and I'd be excited to see it myself!
