On my refco trade station the prices are jumping up and down so I assume the market is open. However, I am not getting any movement from Metatrader (its acting like the market is closed)?

It says I am connected and I have been using Metatrader for 3 months with no problem?

Very confused here.....

I came here looking for the same answer. The charts are not moving. Earlier in the trading day I had problems connecting/logging in. Thinking it was my demo account I signed up for another and still no movement. It just won't do anything after I log in. It just sits there.

It is right if I say we are talking about MetaTrader with Metaquotes price feed here ? Because my FxDD price feed is working fine

Yes. It must be a problem with metaquotes.

I thought I was the only one. Hope we dont miss any big trades

Yes, I should have specified. I just started using Metatrader last week so I wasn't sure if I was making a newbie mistake.

Is there another free feed out there? I do have a live account with, but I am not aware of them having a feed for Metatrader.

SBFX metatrader is fine, I think it's the MetaQuotes metatrader download I’ve always had trouble with that one.

Since you have had the problem before, have you found any alternatives?

Yes since I moved over to StrategyBuilderFX metatrader the platform is working great. You see not all metatrader platform are connected to the same data feeds, servers, Demo times and reliability. Try StrategyBuilderFX metatrader version here http://www.strategybuilderfx.com/downloads/

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at it earlier today, but it says it is version 3.85. So I assume that is not MetaTrader 4. I have some indicators that only work on version 4.

My SBFX Dont update here and shows Invalid login till Last friday it was ok i dont know what is really wrong with Demo servers today .

Everything's working fine on this side, hers A couple solutions;

Try shouting down and re-opening the StrategyBuilderFX metatrader platform/program, reboot your computer, go to the market watch window and select hide all symbols then again and chose show all symbols it may be something with internet connections.

it is working now it was meta trader demo server problem. the reason I dont use SBFX is that their metatrader is outdated ! why dont they update their client to the latest version ? a lot of new indicators are designed for version 4.
