Re: "Trading with Dinapoli levels"?

Re Pesavento's book -- Fib Ratios with Pattern Recognition.

Are we talking about an 8.5 x 11 softbound of 180 pages?

Or are people referring to something else?

Thank you.

Re: "Trading with Dinapoli levels"?

Thanks JohnnyBIt is the one I own !! Got it several months ago from Traders Library for a real bargain. Had set it aside to read DiNapoli's book.

Does anyone trade the Railroad Track pattern from DiNapoli's book. His explanation of that one seemed a bit obscure as to entry and exit.

JohnnyB,

I have traded these patterns for many years. The one piece of advice I will pass along to those now discovering them is to be mindful of the b-c swing.

JohnnyB,

It is best to discover things on your own at times so you do not forget.

Compare this b-c swing with the b-c of other similar patterns you have found. Is this one the same or is it different?

As to your post script, I continue to trade these patterns, daily.

LE, i appreciate the pedagogic thoughts behind your post and i'm glad to here you continue to trade them (also on fx?).

to the BC swing: well, sure it has a very strange angle and would give a very dis-equilibrated butterfly (to use the visual terms). this angle results strange because of the different timeperiods the BC envolved compared to the AB - in less a half of the AB time).
