| Re: TradingSolutions ?? cryo, I am a user of TradingSolutions and a happy one a that. It provides a testing framework to which you can apply AI, or genetic algorithms, and neural networks. You can try out different topography or even style of neural net, it's number of levels, weights. etc.. and then it will test itseld by making it's own neural network logic different, and optimising them, searching for some workable system. Cryo75, there are specfied data poviders built in to TS.When you click the import data tab it will give you a list of providers.The ones they give you are "premium" providers so it costs you money for historical and real time data. I use this website for free EOD historical and intraday tick data.You could also use this website for EOD data for analasis of your solutions. Good luck I know how bewildering it is. |

Cryo75, all I can recomend is going thru the comprehensive video tutorials that come with it.We are probably now at the same stage of progress as I also havent had TS for very long either.It is an amazing program but for someone , like me , who has no formal software or mathematical training it is alot to digest.I play with it for about an hour every day , before my brain starts to hurt I put it away again. Maybe MidGe could help you/us with some pointers?? Best of luck. GT |

| Re: TradingSolutions ?? M2, cryo75, I am willing to help with specific issues relating to Trading Solutions, but the best advice was from M2: Do the tutorial and read the help material first. M2, I admire your diliigence, working an hour a day and only stopping when your brain hurts  , and I am sure you wil get somewhere, even without maths or software training. It may be a bit harder, but far from impossible.Maybe this thread doesn't belong to the beginner's forum, probably more suitable to strategies and system development.
