Lightbulb Warning please read now about babypips

first I would like to say well done moneytec.com
You are one of the best forums regarding trading.

THIS WAS POSTED ON BABYPIPS AND WAS DELETED AFTER 5 MINS.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHY???????????????????
fraud and scams in Forex market.

For noticing fraud be careful and watch the warning signs given below!:
  1. Avoid any firm that gives guarantees of huge profits
  2. Keep away from opportunities that seem too fantastic
  3. Be suspicious of companies that demand to trade in the "Interbank Market"
  4. Keep away from firms that guarantee the miracle of little or no financial risk at all
  5. Never trade on margin if you don't know what it means
  6. Currency frauds as a rule target members of ethnic minorities
  7. Be careful about transferring cash on the Internet by mail or in other way
  8. Make sure that you have the firm's performance track record
  9. Never work with anyone who refuses to give you their background
  10. Warning signs of commodity "Come-On's"

IS BABYPIPS A SCAM??

Re: Warning please read now about babypips

James,

I suspect the post itself was in violation of the TOS agreement. Noting the content of the message itself seems to allude to a commericial statement especially the IB statement.

It may be possible that statement alone would present or expose them to liability.

Noting the TOS (most people don't read them due to the "legal-ese") there are effectively many statements that could be related TOS violations, such as impersonation.

A clause of any actions that damages or disrupts the functioning of systems or services is widely used in forums (namely many sites have advertized endorsements) to remove posts or members, when, in their opinion and judgement, view statements potentially costly.

I hope this helps,

Rich

Try these out...

Good gracious No! babypips has to be one of the best websites available, they have built their reputation with their school of pipsology. If you are new to forex and want to look at serious websites such as this one, thes are, in my humble opinion, the ones you should look at:

1) Moneytec
2) Babypips (excellent learning)
3) FXStreet (also has a new learning section)
4) Forexmoments (serious forum)
5) ForexForum dot net (not bad forum)
6) Forexrazor
7) Forexmagnates (excellent finger on what is going on worldwide, usually first with the news)

Really? I used to come to these forums exclusively for some time. Then they went to hell in a handbasket, especially under the watchful eye of Soultrader. Have they really changed? Sure it looks better, but that means nothing. I wonder if it's still amazingly easy to piss off the mods and get banned?
