Hi folks!
Just wondering what chart analysis software is (MetaTrader?). I am assuming it is the software that lets you perform technical analysis. Plotting, overlaying...stuff like that. Now, if I am right, isn't it the same software that is "given" to you when you open an account with a broker? For example, I have a demo account with CMS-Forex. Wouldnt the trading platform that I downloaded from them, be basically what MetaTrader does?
Or does MetaTrader do something entirely different?

go to strategybuilderfx.com , download metatrader and do a comparison...see which you like better...nobody can tell you what you like better...you can read more on the functions of Metatrader there too...personally i prefer Reuters and Bloomberg charts but they are only accessible in the office and not at home....so anyway every charting package is different..its up to you to find one that you like..
