Question Newbie needs help

Hi there everyone

The forex market has caught my attention and I want to learn how to trade. Can anyone please recommend a good training program? "The Affluent Desktop Currency Trader" by Amin Sadak caught my attention today, but because I am new to all of this I am not sure if this is the best choice as far as training material for beginners is concerned.

Please point me in the right direction. Thank you!

Gavnor,

Look at my profile and send me an email. I have a bunch of good e-books I could give you and I can point you to some good websites with good, free training programs.

Cheers,

-BP

Re: Newbie needs help

When I was a new to forex, I read on a forum that in order to give yourself a better chance of survival in this game, you should exercise the option of letting a Forex Money Manager trade half your money. That way he will make up for your losses and you can keep learning to trade without the worry of loosing your account.

Money Managers do it vertically

Hi there,

I, too, am looking for all the information that is available about FX.

I sent you a PM - if you can also spare and share the same info, I'd appreciate it too, as it's never too late for me to learn.

Thanks!

Unfortunately this is a new account for me and I can't check my PM's yet. My email address is in my profile so feel free to email me.

Thumbs up Re: Newbie needs help

Hey everyone

Thanks for the help so far, I am revving to go. I am also aware that this is a long road ahead of me - but that's OK because at least I know where I am going. All advice offered will be gladly & thankfully accepted.

I understand that to succeed I need to educate myself thoroughly, however, I just read on one of the websites I visited that only 5% of forex traders are successful (huh? )...in other words 95% fail. Does this mean 95% of all would-be traders are not doing their homework, or is there more to this that meets the eye? Is it possible to be well informed regarding the forex market and still be a total failure? I guess here is my first psychological barrier...am I clever enough to be a forex trader!? Time will tell.

Thanks again to everyone.

Re: Newbie needs help

Its probably closer to 80-85% who fail. Many traders don't approach FX as a business but as a lottery (I can't see how 4x ME traders can approach it any differently). Its hard work, but dont' be discouraged by stats like that, you're going to be the one taking thier money.
