Rather than trading GBP/USD EUR/USD/ USD/JPY what are the advantages disadvantages of trading the following
EUR/JPY GBP/JPY.

Advantages
Carry trade income
More daily range - suitable for good intraday traders
Looooonger trends - just check out the charts
Disadvantages
While good trenders you nees deeper pockets so that you are not easily stopped out
Erratic in nature though trending
Wider spread eg 7 for GB/Yen as opposed to 2 for the Eur/usd
that all that comes to mind for now I know here are more
