Hi compro00

I've posted the new system again as I think it was missed by most people last time. It is very similar to the original.

Re: Yet another newbie system!

Great thread!!! One of the better systems I have seen on the forum and somewhat similiar to how I trade. I think the 4 HR chart is the best to trade off also in my opinion. What I also do is look at a weekly and daily chart to get a larger perspective of where a trade may go and the amount of pips that can be gained. Pairs that are at the extreme ends of a chart (for example GBP/JPY is at a top right now and a good opportunity to go short should be coming soon) along with a confluence of strong resistance is key where you have many bars in one area that can't break through on these larger time frames. What I do then is go to 4 HR chart (this is the chart I trade from) and just wait for a good breakout from that key range of resistance. Keep up the good work on this thread if anyone has any other great ideas please share.

See the first post on page 1 Topgun, it's all detailed there.

Hi chrislee and Topgun

I have posted the new YANS on the previous page with the settings and rules. Please use that as I think on the first page it says WMA but it should actually be EMA. (Actually I will change that.)

Re: Further investigations

Another thing which I am looking into at present is doubling up lots. Now I know that can be dangerous but take any of the currency pairs for the new YANS. Look for the entry and follow it along and you will see that quite often the pattern is repeated i.e. the entry conditions are met for a 2nd time and the trade continues to be profitable. I will do some testing, without changing rules. For those of you who have emailed me or followed this thread closely, you will know that I do not like to change the rules as for me that is curve fitting and it defeats the object of a system. All the backtesting has been done without any modification to the rules.

Re: Yet another newbie system!

Ok SR2, thanks for letting me know and also thanks for posting the system it looks to have plenty of potential and I wish you luck with it. It deserves to be a winner if for nothing more than your charity pledge.
